Napster client released for RISC OS

Posted by Tim Fountain on 00:30, 28/5/2000 | , ,

A basic RISC OS port of Napster has been released by Rob Diamond. Napster allows easy searching and transferring of mp3 music files over the Internet by connecting users to a central server and allowing them to search and download from each other's music collections. The RISC OS version, Riscter, currently only allows you to search for tracks and download them, but the source has been released with the program so hopefully development will continue.

Riscster is available from http://www.riscster.cwc.net/.
