Elesar releases an Econet adapter for RiscPC

There is still lots of interest in legacy kit and Elesar's latest product to support this market is an Econet adapter for the RiscPC.

This compact card plugs into an empty rear slot and has both 26bit/32bit drivers to support RISC OS 3, 4 and 5. A 1.2 metre cable is included. It works with Risc PC/A7000/A7000+.
 
If you want to get 'online' retro style, it looks like the perfect solution.
 
The NIC costs £111 (£92.50+VAT) from Elesar

Is that connected on the NIC place? Is it possible to have both Econet adapter and Ethernet?

If you're wanting to use the Risc PC or A7000(+) as a gateway between Econet and Ethernet you'd fit this NIC in the NIC slot, then connect through with an Ethernet podule.

There's normally Ethernet podules on ebay, but not this week it seems! Both the DesignIT/iCubed 'EtherH' and Castle 100baseT 'EtherY' definitely came in podule form factor, but there must be dozens of others because all 26 of the single letter driver names are now allocated.

OK I see. I don't have a ethernet podule. I was just curious.
