Acorn Arcade is Four!

Posted by Richard Goodwin on 10:08, 18/1/2002 | ,

Alasdair has just pointed out that this week sees the fourth anniversary of Acorn Arcade.

The very first version went live on Alasdair's own website on January 15th 1998, with the proper domain acornarcade.com registered 26th February the same year.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to making the site a success, including the authors, the forum regulars and of course all you lovely readers that keep our hit counts up!

Unregistered user Yes, I'm still here, you're not rid of me yet.

I've just been playing RailPro again on VirtualA5000, the game still kicks ass and is still in http://www.acornarcade.com/downloads/ even though my pages on the subject have gone awol :-(

Cheers,

Unregistered user I even pop in from time-to-time! Nice to see things are still running smoothly.

I dunno, we didn't have fancy scripting support in my day. Pah :)
